Food at the Farm

If you are attending a workshop at Cwmoernant Farm you are assured of a warm welcome. We believe in good
wholesome food, making use of our own produce and local supplies whenever possible.

Typical menus for workshops at the farm include lunches based on homemade soups,  fresh bread (often baked
on site, subject to availability of the wood-fired oven), salads and cheese. Snacks usually feature our delicious
home made cakes and plentiful tea and coffee. Evening meals might include hearty stews,  jacket potatoes,  quiche
made with our own eggs, or perhaps a pasta with sauce or sometimes pizza made in the  wood fired oven.  Proper
puddings such as homemade apple pie or fruit crumble are favourites with our guests,  and we are always happy to
cater for vegetarians or most special diets with a little prior warning.

Tea and coffee are fair trade. Herb teas are also offered.

If you are coming for a workshop and arriving at an unusual time or staying an extra night, we may be able to help
arrange additional meals as required. We are also not too far from local take-aways such as a good fish and chip
shop and also basic supermarkets for those camping and wishing to obtain extra meals.
