Courses for 2011

Courses typically include good basic accommodation in our comfortable
camping barn, or if you prefer to bring your own tent, in our camping
field. 'Upgrades' to stugar or caravan may be available at a small extra
cost, or if you prefer to stay in local B&B, thats fine too. Food is good,
homemade and plentiful, frequently using our own produce or local
ingredients. Please get in touch if you require more information on any
course, to book, or to request a special course of your own.

Fibre Retreats:

We are offering our excellent value fibre retreats on three different weekends
this year: July 30/31, August 20/21 and September  24/25 (arrive on Friday
evening or early Saturday, depart mid afternoon Sunday in most cases)

Join us for a friendly, relaxed weekend where the emphasis is on giving you time
and space to work on your own projects, though there is always plenty of things
going on if you'd like to try your hand at something new. We usually include an
introduction to sorting and washing fleece, an opportunity to experiment with
natural dyes, hands on help with spinning techniques, knitting or crochet and a
range of traditional or historic skills such as braiding, cord making, tablet weaving
and more.

Accommodation in our comfy camping barn or in your own tent is included in the
price, as are all meals and plenty of home-made cake and snacks.

Price is just £85 per person, with a healthy discount available for returning visitors
or members of Downsizer or Ravelry. Book your place soon, we keep numbers
low to ensure you have space to spread out your projects, and these are
popular weekends
