Accommodation Fees, Terms and Conditions
BOOKING THE CAMPING BARNS

1.        The property is hired on the basis that it is for Holiday use and no right to remain in the accommodation shall exist
for the hirer or any person allowed into the property by the hirer. The hirer shall be liable for all costs and fees as arise of
any delayed departure.
2.        The owner shall not be under any liability in contract until a written booking and full payment has been received
and confirmed in writing by the owner.
3.        Cheques should be made payable to P Reynolds. The owner reserves the right to delay confirming bookings until
cheques have been cleared, generally three working days.
4.        Provisional bookings can be made by telephoning 01267 234779. The owner is happy to discuss your
requirements and needs, but bookings should be confirmed within 7 days in writing, along with full payment. If there is a
delay without notification then the booking will be re-let.
5.         In the event of a cancellation, the hirer must inform the owner immediately whereupon the owner shall make
every reasonable attempt to re-let the property. If re-letting is possible, the payment, less cost incurred for re-letting, will
be returned. The owner reserves the right not to return a payment if re-letting is not possible.
6.        The property is let on a nightly basis, from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, with departure by 11.00am or by other
arrangement to be discussed and agreed by the owner.
7.        Open fires are allowed in designated fire areas only, camp fire cooking and brick bread oven available for use by
groups with prior agreement. There is a well equipped camp kitchen in the Big Barn available for use by groups and
families. Responsibly used barbecues are allowed with agreement of owner only.
8.        Wood for the fires is to be collected from the allotted wood stores, which will be allocated on arrival. You can either
replace the wood used by collecting it from the woodland on the hill that overlooks the farm buildings or pay a fee for the
wood used.
9.        Fire Wood must not be collected from hedges.
10.        This is a working small holding, fire works are not permitted.
11.        Users are expected to respect other site users, residents, livestock, pets and wildlife at all times.
12.        Please ensure that the environment and landscape is maintained for others to enjoy and for the safety of
livestock by not removing stones from walls or climbing on walls, fences and gates.
13.        On arrival book in at the farmhouse and you will be welcomed to your holiday location. Please telephone if your
arrival will be later than 9pm.
14.        Strictly no under 18’s without supervision
15.        No dogs unless for special purpose, (i.e. guide dogs) and those that are allowed must be under control at all
times. There is a dog walk adjacent to the farm.
16.        Unless with prior agreement with the owner, this is a quiet site after 11.00pm.
17.        Please respect the No smoking in buildings law.


DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

The Long Barn. (see images at bottom of page)

•        Camp in a barn instead of under canvas.
•        Long Barn camping offers four double sleeping bays which are curtained for privacy, a long open plan area which
offers group seating and which could provide extra sleeping for a family or a group of about six people (currently there is
a double sofa bed with single bunk above it in this area, extra camping beds could be added to this section as needed).
•        Tables and seating are provided and some storage for equipment.
•        There is an en suite washroom with a compost loo, solar shower and handwash facilities.
•        The long barn also shares access to a flush loo and compost lavatories, kitchen, basin and solar shower bags with
the campsite.
•         There is No Electricity, Water supply or Heating in the Long Barn
•        Hire individual spaces in the barn
•        Hire the whole facility for your exclusive use.
It is also possible to hire the other buildings, along with camping pitches for your group needs.
•        All the buildings come under the No Smoking Rules

The Camping Field.

•        The campsite is a small field with restricted amount of pitches for tents only.
•        Open March to November subject to ground conditions.
•        There are no hook ups or generators
•        No fires in the field
•        No Fireworks
•        No vehicles allowed into camping field
•        Strictly no under 18s without adult supervision.
•        Please ensure ALL your tent pegs are removed from the ground when you leave.

The Bull Shed.

•        Camping space for a family or 4/6 people.
•        Ideal barn space for groups to skill share .This space has been used as a demonstration room, scout meeting room,
folk evenings ,group leaders headquarters, picnic room and family space for weekend retreat.
•        Wood burning stove and electricity.
•        Various furnishings according to the booking requirements.
•        Ideal gathering space for groups who hire the whole farm. Can be hired separately.
 
The Big Barn

•        Can be hired separately or along with other parts of the farm.
•        A large modern block and steel barn that offers versatility for groups to adapt to their requirements.
•        The Barn is divided up inside and has-Compost Lavatories, Camp Kitchen with Drinking water, five ringed Gas hob,
refrigerator, worktops and stainless steel food counter, a selection of cooking equipment and crockery glasses and
cutlery.
•        A soundproofed band practice room.
•        An open hall approximately 70x70 ft. The space has been used for theatre and performance so it has black walls,
this allows for easy decoration for other functions.
•        There is a ball pool for supervised small children only.
•        There are large roller doors to the front and side of the barn, which will be opened and closed on request by a farm
member only.
•        There is a cooking area outside the front of the barn close to the camp kitchen which offers wood fire cooking and
a large brick bread oven.
•        Plenty of chairs and various tables.

The Stugar

•        Wooden chalet with double bed and wood burning stove.
•        Caravan toilet in a little “ lean to” discreetly located on the back of the chalet

The  Caravan.
  
  • Six berth cosy little caravan in the centre of the farm . A good  base for the quarter master ,chef, or vintner as it is
    located close to the Farm Kitchen area.
  • Electricity and gas hook up on  request .


CHARGES FOR OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION

Cwmoernant Farm Camping.

Approximately 10 pitches according to ground conditions.
Payment must be made before pitching your tent. The prices are correct at present but we reserve the right to alter our
pricing guidelines.
To reserve your pitch deposits or full payment (non refundable) may be required  to avoid the pitch being re-let.
Separate booking forms are required for each family wishing to book as part of a group.               
Tent per night: £5 plus £1 per person. Under 5’s Free. Maximum length of stay is two consecutive nights.

The Long Barn.

Maximum 12 people.
Per Person : £6 a night.
Exclusive use of Barn £60 a night.

The Bull Shed.

Maximum sleeping accommodation 6 people
Per person:£8 a night
Exclusive use of Bull Shed £40 a night

The Stugar

Maximum 2 people.( plus room for a baby)
Exclusive use of Stugar £15 a night

The Caravan

Maximum 4/ 6 people.
Exclusive use of the Caravan £20 a night.

Campervans.
   
There are a few hard standing pitches. £6 a night
The farm has various other dry sleeping spaces for shelter in the event  of bad weather       

Hire of the Big Barn

Includes use of Kitchen and bread oven.
Day 8am-5pm = £50
Eve 6pm -12pm = £50
All Day = £100
W/E Fri 5pm- Sun 5pm =£200

Music Room. Separate arrangements for the music room . Prices to be agreed according to accommodation
requirements. Normal hourly rate £5  hour for rehearsal room. Costs to be arranged on enquiry.

Bullshed.

Meeting Room Space. £5 per hour.

Burgundian Medieval Tent (Large) available for hire.

There are other undercover demonstration areas available in case of bad weather.

For
Exclusive Use of the farm for your group for one weekend from Friday 5pm until Sunday 5pm =£550.
We are members of the Scouting Family and welcome Scout Groups. A special Rate for Child orientated groups is
available .Duke of Edinburgh events welcome.

We can offer milk delivered fresh from the local dairy in glass bottles. To be ordered and paid for before arrival.

All workshops hosted by the “Members” of the farm will have Tuition , Materials and Catering costs separate from the
accommodation hire price, relevant to the event. The details of which, will be posted with the individual Skill sharing event
details. List of events on website. Maximum event length - two consecutive nights.

The camping barn is a perfect base for a group wishing to explore the area. It has a small private patio garden which
can be used for bbqs, and also has storage spaces for bikes or luggage, and a basic washroom.
